Podcast Award 2006?!

i didnt know that they had podcasting award here in tokyo.
it says its been almost a year since podcasting had arrived in japan. however, the contest is already over and it was held at apple store in ginza in september . we missed something, didnt we?

I was checking the podcasting programs that received the awards( yeah they are of course in japanese) and i was very fascinated by podcast preaching by Buddiest Preist. According to the judges at the contest, they found it very innovative and interesting. Do they also have podcast preaching by cathoric churches in america?lol
